Re: Gary Douris, 1940-2009

Gary was a true friend and business partner. Gary was a visionary and organized and was President of Perris Valley Skydiving Society, Inc. which saved Perris from permanentedly being closed in 1985. Again in 1990 organized and was President of Cy Perkins Parachute Club, Inc. which reopened Elsinore Skydiving Center. Gary never sought recognition for the many things he pioneered and accomplished. He was a man of purpose and true integrity. He earned the both the Silver Star and Bronze Star for bravery in Vietnam and was a true hero to the sport of skydiving.
